Donald Eric 'Doggy' Brown

Donald Eric “Doggy” Brown, 60, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at home.  
 
He was born Oct. 17, 1962 in Greenfield, the son of Melvin Brown Jr. and Betty (McCarty) Brown.
 
Donald was a 1981 graduate of Fairfield High School. He was a meat cutter and a driver for the local Amish.
 
He is survived by his wife, Kim (Downard) Brown; two children whom he raised, Sierra (Cody) Stamper of Hillsboro and Saber Stubbs of Hillsboro; two grandsons, Braxton and Bryson Stamper; one sister, Linda Harrington of Hillsboro; two sisters-in-law, Pam Bown of Greenfield and Pam Brown of Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.  
 
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Richard, Tom, Jack, Jim and Estel Brown; one nephew, Timothy Brown; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Monday, June 19 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg.
 
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with expenses at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield 45123.
