Debra 'Debbie' Lynn Whitenack

Debra “Debbie” Lynn Whitenack, 59, of Lynchburg, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at her home.

She was born June 2, 1964, in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Edward Zachary Carroll and Doris Jean (Howard) McElhone.

Debbie started her working career at Honda in Marysville as a forklift operator for several years. She earned her CDL and was a truck driver for 20 years, then in 2016 she became the owner and operator of Pappy’s Pub in Lynchburg. She loved her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Ronald Whitenack; her mother, Doris Jean McElhone; three children, Amber Marie Tramontana, Samantha Lee (Charles Durham) Tramontana and Coni Lynn (Jacob) Niehaus; four stepchildren, Brian (Emily) Whitenack, Eric (Kendra) Whitenack, Ronnie (Katelynn) Whitenack Jr. and Jessica (Dylan) Gerard; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph Brian McElhone, John Patrick (Samantha) McElhone and Zach Carroll; four sisters, Kathleen, Patricia, Trudy and Carole; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Zachary Carroll.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Funeral services will take place following visitation at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses, may be made in Debbie’s name to the Davis-Turner Funeral Home, PO Box 400, Lynchburg, Ohio 45142.
