Dale E. Monteith, 70, of Bainbridge, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 28, 2023.  
 
He was born Jan. 18, 1953 in Highland County, the son of the late Albert Raymond Monteith and Patsy June Rhoads Monteith.
 
Dale was a graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School in the class of 1970. He had retired from Rotary Forms Press after 40-plus years of service and was the former owner of Monteith Trucking Company.
 
Surviving are his mother, Patsy June Rhoads Monteith; a sister, Linda (Jim) Gregory; two brothers, Perry (Karen) Monteith and Albert W. Monteith; special friends, Dave and Leslie Anders; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
 
In addition to his father, Dale was preceded in death by two nieces, Terressa Gregory and Julie Moneith; and a great-nephew.
 
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Thursday, Aug. 3 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Roades Cemetery.
 
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home Thursday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
