Crowd enjoys annual Chambers-Fite Realty hog roast, open house

A tradition over two decades in the making continued Friday, Sept. 29, as Chambers-Fite Realty hosted their annual hog roast and open house at their office on North High Street in Hillsboro.

Chambers-Fite broker/partners Lowell Chambers and Rusty Fite and their agents, employees, relatives and friends served a variety of cookout fare, including pulled pork, hamburgers, coleslaw, baked beans, beverages and cookies, to hundreds of members of the community from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Dan Music told The Highland County Press that from Thursday night through Friday morning, he smoked approximately 260 pounds of pork shoulder for the event.

Chambers-Fite Realty has sponsored this free annual meal for over 23 years.
