Cincinnati Reds announce Aug. 15-20 homestand highlights
The Cincinnati Reds have announced the following homestand highlights for their upcoming series against the Cleveland Guardians and Toronto Blue Jays, Aug. 15-20.
Tuesday, Aug. 15 – Reds vs. Cleveland Guardians, 6:40 p.m. (gates open at 5:10 p.m.)
• TV: Bally Sports Ohio (John Sadak, Barry Larkin & Jim Day)
• Radio: 700WLW and stations on the Reds Radio Network (Tommy Thrall & Jeff Brantley)
• Ohio Cup Series: The Reds and Guardians kick off the annual quest for the coveted Ohio Cup. At the conclusion of the series in Cleveland (Sept. 26-27), media from the Reds and Guardians will vote for the Frank Robinson Most Outstanding Player of the Ohio Cup Series.
• Black Family Reunion: A pregame ceremony will honor Mr. & Mrs. Eddie & Deanna Hawkins and family, the 2023 Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion Family of the Year. The award honors a family that exemplifies unity, is active in the community and continues to uphold the values of a strong Black family. The 35th annual Midwest Black Family Reunion takes place on Aug. 17-20 in Cincinnati.
• Kid Glove Game Ceremony: Pregame ceremonies will honor the Kid Glove Program and the late Paul Kramer. In partnership with the Rosie Reds and the Reds Community Fund, four Paul Kramer Award winners will be recognized. Paul’s great-granddaughter Ava Clifton will sing the National Anthem.
• Moment of Remembrance: Former Reds beat writer John Fay, who passed away last week at the age of 66, will be honored during pregame ceremonies.
• Reds Country Cares: As part of our season-long Reds Country Cares program, tonight we recognize Aug. as Addiction & Overdose Awareness Month. As part of our ceremonies, we’ll be recognizing guests from Joseph House & RecoveryOhio for their work to help our community with resources and support for those in need.
• 3-2-1 Tuesdays: For all Tuesday home games this season, fans can purchase $3 Buds and Bud Lights (12 oz. cans), $2 hot dogs and $1 ice cream cups, presented by Budweiser and Bud Light.

• City Connect Friday: Reds players and coaches will wear the Nike City Connect uniform as part of City Connect Fridays.
• Yacht Rock Revue postgame concert: As part of the Ohio Lottery Post-Game Concert Series presented by Dunkin, Yacht Rock Revue will perform a free postgame concert from the field approximately 15 minutes after the game ends. • Fireworks Friday: Rozzi’s fireworks show presented by Woodbridge Wine will begin towards the end of the postgame concert.
• The Sandlot: To mark the 30th anniversary of the classic baseball film, “The Sandlot,” original cast members Grant Gelt (“Bertram”), Victor DiMattia (“Timmy Timmons”) and Shane Obedzinski (“Tommy ‘Repeat’ Timmons”) will be recognized during pregame ceremonies. The Banks Cincinnati is having a free outdoor showing of the movie on Thursday, Aug. 17, at 8:30 p.m. on the video board outside Great American Ball Park.
• First Pitch: FC Cincinnati defender Ray Gaddis will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Gaddis is in his second season with the club after playing nine seasons with the Philadelphia Union.
• Naturalization Ceremony: Before the game, more than 50 individuals will participate in a naturalization ceremony to officially become United States citizens. The participants will also be on the field during pregame ceremonies to take the oath of allegiance.
Saturday, Aug. 19 – Reds vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 6:40 p.m. (gates open at 5:10 p.m.)

• India Bobblehead: As part of Super Saturdays, fans in attendance will receive a Jonathan India bobblehead presented by Ohio LECET, while supplies last.
• RCF Check Presentation: During pregame ceremonies, representatives from Coca-Cola Consolidated and Kroger will donate $100,000 to the Reds Community Fund.
• First Pitch: NBA player Miles McBride will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. He played for Moeller High School, Univ. of West Virginia and was selected in the second round of the 2021 NBA draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder and then traded to the New York Knicks.
• American & Canadian Flags: American and Canadian flags will be displayed on the field during pregame ceremonies for the playing of each country’s National Anthem.
Sunday, Aug. 20 – Reds vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 1:40 p.m. (gates open at 12:10 p.m.)

• Kids Sticker Sheet: As part of Family Day at the ballpark, kids 14 and younger will receive a Reds sticker sheet presented by Cuties, while supplies last.
• Dayton Day: Today is Dayton Day, celebrating the City of Dayton and its connection to Reds baseball, including the team’s Single-A affiliate Dayton Dragons. Many of the pregame and in-game ceremonies will feature dignitaries and members of the Dayton community.
• Run the Bases: Fans of all ages can line up after the game to run the bases, with priority for Reds Heads kids club members.

The commemorative bobblehead, presented by Dinsmore, celebrates the legendary rooters group and its iconic mascot. • Tyler Stephenson Autograph Signing - Aug. 19: Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson will sign autographs and take pictures with fans on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Reds Hall of Fame’s Williams Family Champions Gallery. Autograph and photo opportunity ticket packages include admission to the Hall of Fame for the day of the event as well as a Rosie Red bobblehead. • Pokey Reese and Eddie Taubensee Autograph Signing - Aug. 19: Former Reds Pokey Reese and Eddie Taubensee will sign autographs for fans on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Reds Hall of Fame’s Williams Family Champions Gallery. • Michelle Houts Presentation and Book Signing - Aug. 20: Author Michelle Houts will discuss and sign copies of her book, Kammie on First: Baseball’s Dottie Kamenshek, beginning at Noon on Sunday, Aug. 20 in the Jeff Wyler Family Hall of Fame Theater. The book tells the story of Norwood, Ohio-born Dorothy Mary Kamenshek who grew up to become one of the stars of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The event is free with Hall of Fame admission. Copies of the book are available for purchase at the Reds Hall of Fame Shop.
• Fantasy Camp Reunion Weekend: Campers from the 2023 Reds Fantasy Camp will reunite for games at the P&G Cincinnati MLB Youth Academy on Saturday, Aug.19 and will be introduced on the field prior to Sunday’s Reds game at Great American Ball Park. The weekend culminates with games between teams of campers at GABP on Monday, Aug. 21.
• Kids and Military FREE at the Reds Hall of Fame: Kids 12 and under can always explore the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum presented by Dinsmore for free, courtesy of the H.C.S. Foundation. Admission for active military and veterans is free, courtesy of the Sargent Family Foundation.

2024 Season Tickets Select-A-Seat Event
