Bertha Clarice Miller | The Highland County Press

Bertha Clarice Miller, 88, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Highland District Hospital.

She was born Nov. 17, 1934 in Patriot, the daughter of the late George and Eunice (Miller) Stewart.

Clarice attended the Freedom Fellowship Church. She liked to crochet and crafting.

Clarice is survived by her son, Rick (Nancy) Miller of Leesburg; three grandchildren, Amy (Bobby) Miller-Schott, Christopher (Danyelle) Miller and Richard (Andrea) Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Ave and Joseph; and a daughter-in-law, Janice Miller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Miller; her son, Tony V. Miller; and brothers, Carl Stewart, Ray Stewart and Emerson Stewart.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon at Freedom Fellowship Church, 7451 Pea Ridge Rd, Hillsboro 45133. Jerry Fyffe will officiate. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in Clarice’s name to Freedom Fellowship Church at the above address.
