Hillsboro High School graduate and current Wright State University standout Cierra Lively recently earned two Horizon League honors.

Lively, a senior, was named the Horizon League's 2025 Indoor Horizon League Track and Field Sportsmanship Award winner on Friday, March 21, voted on by the League's head coaches.

"Cierra has been a guiding light in our program for the last four years," Wright State head coach Rick Williamson said. "Without fail, she has always brought energy and positivity to our practices and competitions. She not only supports her teammates during competitions, but also cheers for her competitors, lifting the entire field to new heights."

Lively is also a member of SAAC and works in Wright State's athletic department with marketing and promotions.

The Sportsmanship Award recognizes student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Sportsmanship is defined as behavior exhibited during competition by student-athletes based on values, respect and integrity.

On March 25, Lively earned HL Female Field Athlete of the Week recognition.

Lively grabbed the top spot in the women's high jump, clearing 1.70 meters, a mark that's currently ranked first in the Horizon League, at the Blizzard Buster hosted by Miami (Ohio).
