Shirley C. Harvey, 77, of Mowrystown, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Heartland of Hillsboro.

 

She was born Monday, July 18, 1932 in Highland County, Ohio, Daughter of the late Leslie William Harvey and the late Minnie Marguerite Amey Harvey.

 

She was a member of and had been baptized into the the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church. She was also a graduate of Whiteoak High School.

 

She had lived in Cincinnati and retired from the U.S. Playing Card Company in Cincinnati after 31 years of service.

 

Surviving are Sister, Marguerite McKee of Mowrystown, special niece, Cheryl Bennett of Mowrystown, and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Ralph, Earl, Hugh, Philip, and Clifford Harvey, and two sisters, Joy Lyons, Betty Louden .

 

 

Graveside Services will be held Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Mowrystown Cemetery with Rev. Allan Hunt officiating.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions may be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tenn. 38105-1942.
