Paul Henry “Bo” Narcross Jr.
Paul Henry “Bo” Narcross Jr., 81, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Ohio Living Cape May Nursing in Wilmington.
He was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Greenwood, Mississippi, the son of Paul Henry Narcross Sr. and Betty (Barr) Narcross.
Bo was a 1961 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and member of the Greenfield First United Methodist Church. He was a 60-year member of the Leesburg Masonic Lodge 78, was the former Mayor of Greenfield and served on the Greenfield City Council for numerous years. He was a founding member of the Greenfield Area Life Squad, and was famously known for the Smokin’ Meat Wagon and smoked pork tenderloin sandwiches.
He retired from Weller’s Plumbing and Heating and was formerly employed at Mason Fence Company of Leesburg, Bobb Bros. Inc. of Leesburg, for Howard Smalley “digging ditches,” and Cincinnati Milacron.
He is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Lynn Narcross of Leesburg; one son, John Paul (Susan Zoldak) Narcross of Columbus; three grandchildren, Katey (Chente) Hernandez, Elliott John Narcross and Nicole Louise Narcross; one great-granddaughter, Milagro “Mila” Patricia Hernandez; two sisters, Nancy (Robert) Harvey of North Carolina and Margaret (Tom) Horst of Hillsboro; one sister-in-law, Linda Lou Wright of Fla.; one brother-in-law, Terry David Hamilton of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Hamilton Narcross, on June 24, 2016; one niece, Margaret Harvey Bah; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; and both parents.
Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday, June 20 at the Greenfield First United Methodist Church beginning with a Masonic service, followed by Pastor Mark Armstrong and Otis Wagner. Bo and Pat’s cremains will be combined and buried together at a private graveside service in the Greenfield Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday at the church.
