Mildred E. Aber Meddock, 96, of Hillsboro, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at the Heartland of Hillsboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Aug. 24, 1913, in Pricetown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ezekiel and Sarah Ellen Burton Aber.
She was a good, loving mother and grandmother, and kept a garden until the age of 87.  
She is survived by 13 children, Sarah Warner of Marshall, Paul (Jenny) Meddock of New Vienna, Betty (Frank) Golle of Boynton Beach, Fla., Violet (Eddie) Lipker of Huber Heights, Evelyn (Johnny) Cvitkovich of Dayton, Sharon (Tim) King of Springboro, Judy (Larry) Miller of New Carlisle, Beverly (Noah) Brown of Portsmouth, Terry (Deb) Meddock of Arcanum, Jerry (Theresa) Meddock of New Carlisle, Michael (Carla) Meddock of Washington C.H., Johnny Meddock of New Vienna, and Vickie Meddock of Hillsboro; 45 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; 33 great great-grandchildren; brother Gene P. (Bessie) Aber of Hillsboro; daughter-in-law Ramona Meddock of Lucasville; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Meddock; seven siblings, Lewis H. Aber, Oscar I. Aber, Edna Newkirk, Gladys L. Bowen, Delman C. Aber, Norman C. Aber, and Norris L. Aber; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home, Lynchburg.  Rev. Steve Warnock will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  For more information and to sign our on-line register, please visit www.turnerfuneralhomes.cc
