Mary F. Davidson, 87, of Hillsboro, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born Aug. 8, 1922 in Brown County, Ohio, the daughter of the late A. Hugh and Nell (Marshall) Evans.
Mary was a member of the Russellville Church of Christ and Daughters of America and former Grange member. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Vicki Harris of Hillsboro, Paulette and Larry Martin of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Lori Newman of Hillsboro, Katie (Clint) Wharton of Hillsboro, Paul (Sheri) Martin of Kosovo, and Sabrina Mercer of Hillsboro, two step-grandchildren, Jason (Michelle) Harris of Mt. Orab, Lora (Greg) Ferguson of Hillsboro, five great grandchildren, Amie Griffith, Ashley Jenkins, Taylor Ball, Tia Martin, Paul Jenkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul A. Davidson on May 3, 2001, son-in-law Gary Harris on Dec. 20, 2007, grandson Bobby Martin on Oct. 17, 2003 and a brother, Charles Evans.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Dr. Chuck Shonkwiler will officiate, with burial to follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
