Helen Jean "Jeannie" Cline, 69, of Greenfield, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at Edgewood Manor, Greenfield.

She was born June 23, 1941 in Greenfield, the daughter of Earl C. and Virginia (Mercer) Kerns.

Mrs. Cline was a homemaker and former employee of Weastec and the Greenfield Lanes. She was a member of the FOE #1325 Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by two brothers, Charles Earl (Sharan) Kerns of Greenfield and Richard Wilson (Jackie) Kerns of Beavercreek; four sisters, Lois Illene Mottie of Hillsboro, Marianna (Bob) Morgan of Chillicothe, Frances June (Harold) Mathers of Springfield, and Linda Lee (Jerry) Kidder of Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Leo Cline, on Oct. 20, 1979; and two brothers, Donald Eugene Kerns and Lowell Kerns.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home of Greenfield, followed by burial at the Gilboa Cemetery, New Petersburg.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Fayette County, P.O. Box 849, Washington C.H., Ohio, 43160.
