The Hillsboro Post Office will be open Christmas Eve until noon to enable retail employees to spend more time with their families. Regular mail delivery for Dec. 24 will be unaffected by the change.

The Hillsboro Garden Club met on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Ponderosa for their annual celebration of the Christmas holidays. Larry and Judy Moore hosted the gala evening and were delighted to welcome 22 revelers. A holiday punch and Carol Gorby's famous Frosted Cranberries were served as members and guests arrived.
The Cardiology Department at Adena Medical Center recently hosted its Second Annual Cardiovascular Symposium, an annual educational event designed for physicians and other health care providers throughout the region. The event was held at Adena’s PACCAR Medical Education Center.
