Former Sunnyside tavern on fire

The former Sunnyside Inn on U.S. 50 in Allensburg was heavily engulfed in flames Tuesday, May 30.

The former tavern had been closed for several years.

Information has been requested from the Lynchburg Area Joint Fire & Ambulance District.
