Crews respond to Hillsboro house fire

Crews responded to a house fire on the 200 block of East South Street in Hillsboro Thursday morning.

Paint Creek Joint EMS/Fire District, Hillsboro Police Department, Highland County North Joint Fire and Ambulance District and Marshall Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call, which came at approximately 11:45 a.m.

As of this posting, there was no word on injuries or the cause of the fire. The incident remains under investigation.
