Rocky Fork and Paint Township cleanup yields 365 bags of garbage

The Rocky Fork Community Alliance, with the assistance of Paint Township Trustee Randy Mustard and the Highland County Community Corrections, has completed a monthlong cleanup of the Rocky Fork and Paint Township areas.
Each Saturday in April, volunteers walked the roadways and shoreline. A total of 365 bags of trash and a porcelain commode were collected.
This was the sixth year the cleanup was conducted by the Rocky Fork Community Alliance. They would like to thank the Highland Holiday homeowners for permitting the disposal of all trash collected at their disposal site.
Without the help and cooperation of all local citizens, this endeavor would not have been a success. A special thank-you is extended to all who helped.
