LEBANON – On May 19, at approximately 1:17 a.m., troopers from the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle serious injury crash. The crash occurred on Interstate 75 southbound near mile marker 38 in Franklin.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2019 Dodge Charger, operated by Steven Coleman, 45, Clearwater, Fla., and a 2024 Volvo 240 Series tractor-trailer combination, operated by Mark Snedeger, 61, Crittenden, Ky., were traveling south on Interstate 75.

After being struck by the Volvo, the Dodge traveled off the right side of the roadway into a ditch. The Volvo continued south and came to a stop on the right shoulder.
Coleman was mechanically extricated from the Dodge and initially transported by ground ambulance to Atrium Medical Center with serious life-threatening injuries. He was then transported by air ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital.
Snedeger was not injured as a result of the crash.
The right two southbound lanes of Interstate 75 and the on-ramp from state Route 73 to Interstate 75 southbound were shut down during the crash investigation. All lanes were reopened to traffic just before 7:45 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post.
