Jillian Elztroth delivers speech to Hillsboro Lions Club

Jillian Elztroth presented her speech "Secular" to the Hillsboro Lions Club Thursday night.

She is a Hillsboro High School junior who came in first place in the Hillsboro Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest

Jillian's topic was secularism.

It is about returning religion voluntarily to schools.

The speech had to encompass the The 4-Way Test of Rotarians International.

Of the things we think, say or do:

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Jillian went on to the district level of competition at Wittenberg University.

Jillian is a member of the Hillsboro High School LEO Club. A service club sponsored by the Hillsboro Lions Club.
