Hillsboro Police Report

On July 11 at 12:02 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a complaint from Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center. They advised that someone stole the sign from in front of their business at 135 West Walnut Street.

At 3:39 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a call from Helen Hise in the 300 block of Muntz Street. She advised that sometime during the night, someone had broken a board to a wooden fence.

At 10:22 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department respond to Kmart in reference to a shoplifter. After investigation, it was found that Tammy Alexander, 44, of Hillsboro was detained for concealing merchandise. The property was recovered, and Alexander was arrested for theft. Alexander was scheduled to appear in court on July 12 at 8 a.m. The property was valued at $30.95.
