On June 29, the Hillsboro Police Department received a call at approximately 11:30 p.m. about a hit and run on North High Street. Upon arrival, it was found that Gerald C. Powell of Hillsboro, driving a 2007 Ford Mustang, was turning northbound from West Main onto North High Street with a green light. An unknown driver was traveling southbound on North High Street and ran a red light, while going around other vehicles and into the path of Powell's vehicle. Powell's vehicle struck the unknown vehicle. The unknown driver did not stop at the scene and continued southbound. No injuries were reported. Powell's vehicle sustained center front damage.

On July 2, the Hillsboro Police department received a call at approximately 10:22 a.m. of a collision in the United Dairy Farmers parking lot on North High Street. Upon arrival, it was found that Barbara Lynn Collins of Hillsboro, driving a 2005 Ford Taurus was pulling into a parking space when the gas pedal got stuck, accelerating the vehicle into the building and a money machine. No injuries were reported. The vehicle received functional damage and was towed from the scene.

Bobby J. Harrington, 25, of Hillsboro, failure to obey traffic control device.
Edith M. Bradley, 55, of Greenfield, speed.
