Hillsboro Police Report

On July 12, the Hillsboro Police Department received a call at approximately 4:47 p.m. from Wal-Mart Loss Prevention reporting a theft. Upon arrival, it was found that William C. Kelley, 24, of Hillsboro, was observed removing games from a display, then concealing them in his backpack. A total of $180 of store merchandise was recovered. Kelley was charged with theft.

The Hillsboro Police Department received a call at approximately 3:12 p.m. of a theft of property from a structure in the 200 block of Bigelow Street. Upon investigation, it was found a water heater, heater furnace and a central air conditioning unit were stolen. The approximate value of the items stolen minus the labor to install is $2,344.53. David A. Seymour was charged with burglary.

Ronald Rutledge, 35, of West Union, bench warrant.

Mitchell Karaffa, 50, two counts of domestic violence.
