Highway Patrol investigating fatal crash in Clinton County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating a one-vehicle crash involving a fatality on Interstate 71 in Clinton County.

The crash occurred around 4:29 p.m. Saturday, June 30.

The driver was southbound on Interstate 71, drifted off the left side of the road, crossed the median, drove through a fence, and struck a ditch.

The driver was a male and was alone in the vehicle when the crash occurred. The driver’s identity is being withheld at this time pending notification of family.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol will have more information as it develops and the investigation is ongoing.
