Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents were reported by the HCSO.

Nov. 26

A resident of the 12000 block of Wilmington Ave., Highland, advised his vehicle was taken overnight. The owner tracked the trucks’ location to a street inside the city of Columbus. Highland County Communications contacted Columbus police, providing the vehicle information. A short time later, Columbus police located the vehicle, the suspect was apprehended after attempting to flee. Charges are currently pending.

A deputy responded to the 6200 block of Shaw Road after a report of someone breaking in to a residence and taking several items including tools. This incident remains under investigation.

Porter J. Kilmer, 41, of Clarksville, trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs.

Clinton H. Crabtree, 46, of Leesburg, domestic violence, strangulation.

Bradley B. Hixson, 39, of Dayton, contempt of court.
