The Fairfield Lions just didn’t keep pace with the host North Adams Green Devils on Tuesday night in their Southern Hills Athletic Conference showdown at NAHS. The Green Devils managed to lead the scoring in all four quarters played, leading to a 63-49 loss for the away team Lions.

Fairfield trailed 17-12 at the end of the first quarter, followed by the Green Devils leading 14-12 in the second frame for a halftime score of 31-24.

In the third, the Green Devils outscored the Lions, 20-17 for a 51-41 lead. The fourth frame saw North Adams outscored the Lions, 12-8 for the 14-point win.

For the game, the Lions were led by Sam Buddelmeyer with 17 points, followed by Wyatt Willey with 13 points. Also on the scoring sheet was Conner Priest with five points, while Austin Setty and James Bentley each scored four points.

Rounding out the FHS scoring were Ethan Saunders with three points, Jon Bentley with two points and Reese Teeters with one point.
