From start to finish, Friday night in Washington C.H. belonged to the visiting McClain Tigers, with MHS gaining a 60-36 Frontier Athletic Conference win.

McClain (3-3, 4-8) was strong early on with a 16-5 first quarter, followed by a 12-9 second frame for a 28-14 lead at halftime.

In the second half, it was more of the same for the Tigers in their FAC contest as they won the third frame at 15-11, and in the fourth quarter, the Tigers outscored Washington, 17-11.



Bryson Badgley led the Tigers with a game-high 23 points, followed by 10 points from teammate Preston Saunders.

Camden Closson scored seven points, and he was followed by Matt Bliss with six points, Braden Wright finishing with five points and Braeden Bergstrom scoring three points for the Tigers, The scoring was completed with two points each from Lyle White, Wesley Potts and Dakota Pollock.

In all, nine players from McClain reached the scoring column.

The Tigers are scheduled to play next on Saturday, Jan. 10 at home in a non-conference game against the Unioto Shermans.
