Thomas J. Lykins, 79, of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020.

He was born in Cannel City, Ky. on Sept. 3, 1940, the son of the late Finley and Mildred (Dunigan) Lykins.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Robert James Lykins; and two brothers, Douglas and Jack Lykins.

Thomas served in the United States Air Force and was a retired truck driver for ABF. He was a member of Teamsters 957 and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He attended Southside Praise and Worship.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Monnie Lykins, whom he married on Nov. 19, 1971; five grandchildren, Jamie (Erica) Lykins, Amanda L. Gragg, Devyn (Zoey) Gajewskey, Kaitlynd Lykins and Sariah Lykins; 12 great-grandchildren, Ashley Lykins, Abigail Lykins, Allyson Gragg, Matthew Gragg, Zaiden Lykins, Weslee Lykins, Josiah Collett, Mahkia Collett, Noah Juanchi, Terrence Tatsuno and Vincent Tatsuno; a brother, Larry Lykins of Phoenix, Ariz.; and sister, Betty Brown of Fairborn.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
