Paula Faye Rhonemus, 73, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 at home.
 
She was born Sept. 18, 1949 in Fayette County, the daughter of Betty Lou (McConaughey) Shipton.
 
Paula was a 1967 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and member of the Greenfield Area Life Squad for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing, motorcycling and crocheting.
 
She retired from Ferno-Washington, Inc. of Wilmington.

She is survived by one son, Tracey Lee (Andrea) Rhonemus of Washington C.H.; one daughter, Michele Montgomery of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Dylan Rhonemus, Logan Rhonemus (Shania), Kylee (Nick) Lewis, Jonathan (Hallie) Stroud and Chance Montgomery; two great-granddaughters, Athena Faye Lewis and Roselyn Marie Stroud; one great-grandson, Riggs Michael Stroud; four sisters, Debbie Greene of Hillsboro, Candy Greene of Hillsboro, Sandy (Harold) Bishop of Newark and Kim (Bill) Smith of New Vienna; two brothers, Randy (Jean) Shipton of Greenfield and Michael (Melinda) Shipton of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Rhonemus, on May 30, 2021; one son, Michael Rhonemus; one sister, Diane Shipton; and both parents.

Cremation will take place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
