Jeffery Allen Hester
Jeffery Allen Hester, 52, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 8, 1970 in Washington C.H., the son of Dwight and Patricia (Myers) Hester.
Jeff was an avid fisher, hunter and gardener. He was employed at YUSA Corporation of Washington C.H. for the last 19 years.
He is survived by his significant other, Lisa Tolle; three sons, Zach Kerns of Leesburg, Justin (Amira) Hester of Greenfield and Wyatt (Abby) Grooms of Leesburg; three daughters, Sabrina (Joseph) Hester of Leesburg, Chelsey Hester of Greenfield and Dora (Steven) Cox of Greenfield; 14 grandchildren; Zoey, Bella, Brantley, Ariel, Ozzy, Marley, Paul, Raelynn, Jaclyn, Maverick, Jasiah, Inara, Soray and Teagan; mother, Patricia Hester of Greenfield; one brother, Dwight L. Hester of Greenfield; two sisters, Tracey L. Hester (Charles Dewayne Ward) of Greenfield and Priscilla L. Hester (James Newsome) of Hillsboro; nieces and nephews, Felicia Hester, Jeffery Scott Baker-Hester, Rylee Ward, Sara Daugherty, Kaylie Snyder, Mia Snyder and Heavenlee, Isaac, Jaelynn and Bella Newsome; a special cousin, Craig Myers of Florida; and a special little girl that always called him papaw, Rosalee Olaker.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Eli Darlington and Jasper Hester; two nephews, Anthony Hester, Meloney Hester; Charles Ward Jr.; grandparents, Paul and Violet Hester, Harold and Norma Hester; and father, Dwight Hester.
Funeral service will be Thursday, June 23 at 1 p.m. at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
