Janet 'Jan' L. Hammond
Janet “Jan” L. Hammond, 78, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2023.
She was born July 28, 1944 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Betty (Kelley) Frost.
Jan is survived by her husband, Gary Hammond; son, Troy (Heather) Hammond of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Brianna Trusty, Serena Hammond, Wyatt (Emma) Condo and Katie Condo; great-grandson, Winston Condo; sister, Jean Frost of Hillsboro; sisters-in-law, Sue Frost of Florida and Barbara Little of Wilmington; and son-in-law, Bob Condo of Hillsboro.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kelley Condo; brother, James Frost; and sister-in-law, Carol Templin.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
Thompson Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
Donations can be made to Hospice of Hope or to the Highland County Humane Society.
