Frances “Ducky” Ryan, 79, of Peebles, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at her home under care of Community Care Hospice.

She was born the daughter of the late James and Gracie (McQuitty) Willey on Feb. 3, 1939 in Sardinia.

Frances retired from Kroger and was the owner of Ducky’s Depot.

She is survived by two sons, Philip Lucas Jr. of Washington C.H and Bryan Lucas of Sabina; three daughters, Nila Legg of Peebles, Melanie Lucas of Washington C.H. and Venesia Sanchez of Washington C.H.; siblings, Owen and William Willey, both of Hillsboro, Miriam Barber of Indiana, Wanda Shaw of Hillsboro, Carol Durham of Kansas and Opal Cramer of Goshen; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 12, 2018 from noon until 2 p.m. at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will begin immediately following visitation at 2 p.m. Roger Newkirk will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery.
