Floyd Everett Storts
Floyd Everett Storts, 82, of South Salem, passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born March 10, 1940 in Ross County, the son of Emolt and Bertha (Schumacher) Storts.
Floyd was a 1958 graduate of Buckskin High School and attended Fruitdale United Methodist Church. He was a founding member of the Paint Valley Antique Machinery and Tractor Club.
He retired after 37 years of employment at Kroger.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae (Withrow) Storts, whom he married Dec. 24, 1961; two sons, Mark (Merri) Storts of South Salem and Brad (Rita) Storts of Leesburg; seven grandchildren, Megan (Jerry) Hopkins, Kaitlin (Jared) Mummert, Abigail (Brandyn) Burgess, Rilee Storts, Chance (Fazo) Wilkin, Tyler Wilkin and Taylor (Nelson) Coombs; six great-grandchildren, Isabella Mummert, Marshall Mummert, Magnolia Mae Burgess, Hattie Lynn Burgess, Claire Coombs and Lydia Coombs; two nephews, Steve Storts and Stan Storts; and special niece, Debbie Harvey.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Emolt Martin Storts; and both parents.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 6 at noon at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jeff Barnhart officiating. Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
