Erma Mae Welch, 91, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 at her home.

She was born Sept. 25, 1930, in Greene County, the daughter of Henry Edward and Jessie Myrtle (Rittenhouse) Sanderson.

Erma was a Homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Jim) Fenner of Greenfield and Pamela Welch of Greenfield; one son, Kenneth (Wendy) Welch of Chillicothe; three grandchildren, Jamie Smith of Shelbyville, Ky., Mark Fenner of Greenfield and Scott Welch of Seattle, Wash.; seven great-grandchildren, Emma, Alexis, Sara, Koen, Allison, Alayna and Nicholas; one great great-grandson, Lucas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack B. Welch, on April 10, 2002; five sisters, Helen Sanderson, Pauline Grooms, Betty Lauffer, Fairy Roberts and Lillian Wilson; three brothers, Henry Sanderson, Joe Sanderson and Clifford Sanderson in infancy; and both parents.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29 at the Greenfield Cemetery with Pastor Susan Keeton officiating.

There will not be a visitation observed.
