Donnie William Williamson, 53, of New Vienna, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021 at his mother’s home in Lynchburg.  

He was born March 22, 1968 in West Union, the oldest son of Billy and Alice (Johnson) Williamson.

Donnie was baptized by Pastor John Worley at the Apostolic Bible Church in Hillsboro on March 17, 1985. He worked at Seal-Tite, American Showa, Airborne Express and had been a meat cutter at Hunter Meats.  

Donnie is survived by one daughter, Aleah (Eric) Skidmore of Peebles; one brother, David (Shelley) Williamson of Lynchburg; two sisters, Julie Williamson of Lynchburg and Lisa (Jason) Williams of Catawba; two nephews, Eric and Kiefer (Shannon); a great-nephew, Beau; a close friend, Dale Maxwell of New Vienna; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Williamson, on July 12, 2020; paternal grandparents, Walter and Lucille Williamson; and several cousins.  

Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 from 11 a.m. until noon at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral services will take place at noon following visitation on Saturday, Sept. 18 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Westwood Cemetery in Latham.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio’s Hospice of Fayette County, 222 Oakland Ave., Washington Court House, Ohio 43160.
