David P. Wyckoff
David P. Wyckoff, 78, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022.
David was born Jan. 31, 1943 in Pike County, the son of the late Charles E. and Etta M. (Williams) Wyckoff.
David was a supervisor with South Central Power and retired after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. He served on the boards of the Hillsboro Christian Academy and the Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center.
David is survived by his son, Jason and Buffy Wyckoff of Hillsboro; two daughters, Tamara (Tony) Reed of Hillsboro and Cherlyn (Tim) Kiefer of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Tyler (Callie) Reed, Benjamin (Kelsey) Reed, Savannah Reed, Jade (Russ) Workman, Dow Kiefer, Will (Madison) Kiefer, Hope Wyckoff and Spencer Wyckoff; eight great-grandchildren, Gracie Isaac, Gavin Isaac, Jase Reed, Emmett Reed, Sophie Reed, Blair Kiefer, Lyla Reed and Luke Workman; a brother, Gary A. (Judy) Wyckoff of London; a sister, Nancy (Kenneth) Gragg of Piketon; a brother-in-law, Roger Dunn of Piketon; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy E. (Blair) Wyckoff, whom he married on Nov. 23, 1963 and passed on July 20, 2019; a grandson, Ryan Kiefer; a brother, Billy Wyckoff; and a sister, Thelma Dunn.
A celebration of life will be held 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31 at the Hillsboro Christian Academy, 849 South High Street, Hillsboro. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the Hillsboro Christian Academy.
Family requests memorials to the Hillsboro Christian Academy, 849 South High Street, Hillsboro; Northside Church of Christ, 25 Greenfield Pike, Hillsboro; or Southern Ohio Pregnancy Center, 135 W. Walnut St., Hillsboro 45133.
