Charlie Hubbard, Jr., 59, of New Vienna, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born Nov. 29, 1961 in Covington, Ky., the son of Charles and Vondella (Perkey) Hubbard.
As a child, he enjoyed being in the Cub/Boy Scouts and was a motorcycle enthusiast all of his life. He excelled in science and plant knowledge and loved history as well as being an animal lover. His nieces and nephews nicknamed him “Uncle Chuckles” because of his smile.
He was a painter and formerly worked on a dairy farm.
He is survived by his son, Brandon (Kayla) Hubbard of Erlanger, Ky.; three daughters, Missi Hubbard of Florence, Ky., Amber Hubbard of Newport, Ky. and Emili (Gary) Moreland of Walton, Ky.; six grandchildren, Dre, Adesa, Michael, Arlo, Connor and Quinn; three sisters, Becky Hubbard of Lexington, Ky., Suzy Hubbard of Taylor Mill, Ky. and Cherokee Hubbard of Taylor Mill, Ky.; four brothers, Lawrence Hubbard of Independence, Ky., Phil Hubbard of Morning View, Ky., Pat Hubbard of Maysville, Ky. and Jacob Hubbard of Morning View, Ky.; numerous nieces and nephews; and father, Charles Hubbard of Alexandria, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Cremation will take place, and a private memorial service will be at the convenience of the family.
