Indigo Roots Studio hosting SoulFair April 24 in Washington C.H.
Courtesy of Diane Matticks
Indigo Roots Studio is born of the desire to provide a source of light to individuals navigating stress and overload to help people discover their highest version of self and authentic wellness.
In keeping with this mission, Indigo Roots is proud to host SoulFair on April 24 in Washington Court House.
This holistic wellness exposition will feature unique services, therapies, music and retail. It is open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is a $5 minimum donation to Nikki’s SoulWork Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to eligible participants of Indigo Roots Studio classes, workshops and retreats.
Indigo Roots was founded by lead visionary and creator Shannon Jacobs. The business began as a small meditation studio in March 2015, with Jacobs as the sole guide. Since then, it has grown to include eight certified teachers, 18 weekly classes, multiple forms of yoga, holistic therapies, Reiki, workshops and retreat experiences. What began as quiet solace now hosts a vibrant and remarkable community.
The studio regularly features gentle yoga, yin/yang fusion, power vinyasa, kundalini yoga, t'ai chi, Pilates, HIIT shred, chair yoga and guided meditations, a series of beginner modules, children’s classes and much more.
The schedule shifts seasonally with each solstice and equinox, lending itself to the earth-based approach of the studio offerings.
Recently, Indigo Roots expanded to include a second level, allowing for ideal social distancing and even more eclectic offerings. The studio takes great pride in its safe, supportive atmosphere, as well as the level of expertise presented through teachings and offerings. Guest workshops are a community favorite – opening new worlds of perception and expanding consciousness in a nurturing environment. The quality and diversity of workshops, retreats and events that this venue presents are truly inspiring.
Also upcoming, Sept. 17-19 is the much-anticipated SoulFest – the embodiment of everything Indigo Roots Studio has to offer in one weekendlong outdoor retreat in a private, tranquil setting. This year marks the third annual presentation of ever-evolving SoulFest. This year’s theme is based on the Celtic Wheel of the Year and centers around the energy of the autumn equinox.
Throughout the weekend, a host of exceptional guides lead a diverse selection of yogic, meditative and artistic workshops. Optional holistic therapies and access to select vendors are also available to participants. Space is limited. Tickets will be on sale soon.
Indigo Roots Studio is located at 120 W. Court St., Suites 1-3, Washington Court House.
