The Highland County Community Action Organization, Inc. has recently announced the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program for Children.

Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under or persons over 18 who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled.

The meals will be provided in accordance with Federal Law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

Meals will be provided at the site(s) listed below beginning on June 3 and running until July 31.

• First United Methodist Church, 133 E. Walnut Street, 133 E. Walnut Street, Hillsboro. (This site is in cooperation with the Daily Bread.) Lunch served 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

• Greenfield Elementary School, 200 N. Fifth Street, Greenfield. Lunch Served 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

• Highland County Family YMCA, 201 Diamond Circle, Hillsboro. Lunch Served at 11 a.m.
