PORTSMOUTH – Local singer and songwriter Elizabeth Scott is scheduled to release her newest single “Gypsy Heart” on Feb. 6.

"Gypsy Heart" is an autobiographical narrative of a mother reflecting on how her first-born son tamed her gypsy heart and in turn deal with the inevitable pain of having to let him go out into the world and follow his own gypsy heart.

This is the 10th song Scott has released since April 2018.

“As long as words keep filling my head and melodies flow from my heart, I will
continue to write music,” Scott said.

"Gypsy" is Scott’s second song produced by country music artist and producer Dean Miller, son of Country Music Hall of Famer Roger Miller. Scott traveled to Nashville, Tenn. to record with Miller and Beaird Music Group.

“Gypsy Heart” is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and iHeartRadio.
