A public meeting will be held Monday, Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. at the North High Business Center, 1487 N. High Street, Hillsboro 45133 in the main conference room.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss a grant available through the collaboration of the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Office of Community Development to provide funding for an X-ray Florescent Device, also known as an XRF.

This device is used to detect lead-based paint in homes that may receive services through the Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program, (CHIP). This new grant is referred to as CHIP-LAP (Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program Lead Abatement Program).
