A veteran owned and operated business is coming to the area next week. Its mission: To serve its customers the way its leadership served our country – with respect, integrity and trust.

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Cincinnati East, part of a national veteran owned and operated franchise, is opening its signature camo-covered truck doors to the public.

Army officer and combat veteran Shawn Stroop is the owner, and he's joined by his brother, Bobby Stroop, who also served in the Air Force and is a retired deputy sheriff.

Both brothers grew up in the Hillsboro area and are looking forward to giving back to a community that gave them so much. They have a number of veterans and military family members on staff, including another Air Force veteran and the former chief of police of Hillsboro, Todd Whited.

JDog Cincinnati East provides residential and commercial junk removal, hauling, light demolition and other services to areas like Clermont County, Wilmington, Washington Court House, West Chester and surrounding neighborhoods. Their crew recycles and reuses about 60-80 percent of everything collected, donating to local organizations. They're also actively seeking partnerships so they can keep as much as possible out of the landfill.
