A Highland County grand jury returned indictments against 10 individuals during their Tuesday, Jan. 8 session.

A four-count indictment was returned against Donavan Knisley, 18, of Greenfield. Knisley was charged with one count of aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a third-degree felony; one count of aggravated trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony; one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and a forfeiture specification.



Joshua D. Lynch, 33, of Mount Orab was indicted on three charges, including aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony; improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; and a forfeiture specification. As previously reported, Lynch was arrested after the Highland County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 4:25 a.m. Nov. 20, 2018 of an unoccupied vehicle sitting at the intersection of Marconette and Stringtown Roads still running. Deputies responded to the area and located the vehicle with the driver passed out behind the wheel. A loaded firearm was recovered from the vehicle.

Tyler Trent, 30, and Terry Hester, 34, both of Greenfield, were each indicted on charges of attempted burglary and tampering with evidence, both third-degree felonies.

Ryan Henderson, 18, of Hillsboro was charged with one count of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; and receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony.

Gerald Fletcher, 30, of Greenfield was charged with having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony; and aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony.

Margaret E. Thompson, 40, of Peebles was indicted on one count of illegal conveyance of weapons or prohibited items onto grounds of a detention facility or institution, a third-degree felony.

David E. Bailey, 35, of Hillsboro was charged with one count of aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony.

Satia Curry, 44, of Columbus was charged with count of theft, a fifth-degree felony.

Joshua Helterbrand, 37, of Hillsboro was charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
