Williamsburg – The Ohio State Highway Patrol Georgetown Post is currently investigating a one vehicle serious injury crash involving a utility terrain vehicle.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. Sept. 16 on Blue Sky Park Road east of Edgington Road in Sterling Township, Brown County.

Tyler J. Hall, 30, of Williamsburg, was driving southeast on Blue Sky Park Road while operating a 2022 Polaris RZR XP 1000. Hall failed to negotiate a right curve and drove off the left side of the roadway. The Polaris RZR traveled down an embankment and into a creek bed where it overturned.

The Polaris RZR was occupied by Justin L. Bennett, 32, of Amelia.

Hall and Bennett were extracted from the UTV by mechanical means and transported to the University of Cincinnati Hospital with life-threatening injuries via UC Air Care.

The Polaris RZR was also occupied by two juveniles. One juvenile was transported by ground to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with minor injuries. The other juvenile was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital by Air Evac with serious injuries.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, Mount Orab Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services and Williamsburg Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services.
