A Greenfield man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to failure to register a change of address as a registered sex offender.

As previously reported, Todd L. Parr, 43, was indicted on the third-degree felony charge in April.

According to the indictment, beginning on or about Jan. 21, 2021 and continuing thereafter, Parr “failed to provide notice of any change of address within 20 days by written notice.”

Parr pleaded guilty to the charge during a hearing Sept. 22 in Highland County Common Pleas Court. Judge Rocky Coss sentenced Parr to a definite determinate term of 18 months, with jail time credit of 56 days.

According to the indictment, Parr has a previous conviction of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor out of Union County, as well as previous failure to register change of address convictions out of Franklin County.

Parr was on community control for one of the felony cases in Franklin County at the time of the offense in Highland County.
