City of Hillsboro releases 2021 meeting dates
The City of Hillsboro has announced the meeting schedule for 2021.
• Hillsboro City Council will meet at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at the Hillsboro Municipal Courtroom, 130 Homestead Drive. Meeting dates are as follows: Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 8, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13, Oct. 12, Nov. 8 and Dec. 13.
• The Hillsboro Planning Commission is meeting on the third Monday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at 5:30 p.m. at the old Hillsboro Firehouse on Governor Trimble Place. Meetings are set for: Jan. 19 (18th is MLK day), Feb. 16, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19, Aug. 16, Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 15 and Dec. 20.
• The Design Review Board meets at 8:45 a.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of the month (unless otherwise noted) at the City Building, 130 N. High Street. Their meeting schedule is: Jan. 6 and 20, Feb. 3 and 17, March 3 and 17, April 7 and 21, May 5 and 19, June 2 and 16, July 7 and 21, Aug. 4 and 18, Sept. 1 and 15, Oct. 6 and 20, Nov. 3 and 17, Dec. 1 and 15.
• The Revolving Loan Fund committee meets at 10 a.m. on the fourth Monday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at the City Building, 130 N. High Street. Meetings are scheduled for: Jan. 25, March 1, March 29, April 26, May 24, June 28, July 26, Aug. 23, Sept. 27, Oct. 25, Nov. 22 and Dec. 27.
The following holidays are observed: New Year’s Day, Jan. 1; Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 18, Presidents Day, Feb. 15; Memorial Day, May 31; Independence Day, July 5; Labor Day, Sept. 6; Veterans Day, Nov. 11; Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25; Day After Thanksgiving, Nov. 26; Christmas, Dec. 24; New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31.
