On Thursday, May 2, the Fairfield FFA chapter set out for the 91st Ohio FFA State Convention. The members started the trip off with a tour of Wilmington College.

During the convention, the chapter was awarded their Charitable Giving Award for their community service projects. On Thursday evening, the chapter heard from keynote speaker Chris Koch.

On Friday, the members toured the Anthony-Thomas Chocolate Factory in Columbus. At the convention Friday evening, the chapter watched Bre Flint receive her Gold Rated Secretary Award and Alexis Tompkins receive her Gold Rated Reporter Award.

Fairfield also had three State Degree recipients, including Paige Teeters, Ally Davis and Bre Flint. Kevin and Matthew Zimmerman also received their Honorary State Degrees.

The chapter is very proud of these members’ accomplishments and had an amazing time at convention.
