To the editor:

Having been an educator for 34 years, I have been aware of the work of Bill Phillis of the Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy in School Funding.

His work for fair school funding and the Ohio Supreme Court decision are epic.

Charter schools and ECOT have, in my opinion, been a huge waste of taxpayers' money in Ohio.

My question to you is: How can the owners of these charter schools use tax money to influence legislators? It is of course a moral as well as ethical question.

Why has the attorney general or more journalists not been investigating this huge waste of taxpayer dollars?
