Mustangs tie for second time this season; stay undefeated
It was a game of many ups and downs for both the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs and Ripley Blue Jays, but when the final buzzer sounded there was no winner, as each team scored twice with the 80 minute game ending in a 2-2 tie.

It took just three sets for the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs' volleyball team to clinch  their second straight win in as many days, Tuesday night, sweeping the Ripley Lady Blue Jays in three games for the Southern Hills League win.

Mustangs, Warriors tie in non-league matchup
The Lynchburg-Clay boys soccer team stayed undefeated Monday against Eastern Brown but didn't add to their overall win total. Both the Mustangs and Warriors put up a total effort, but in the end, they played equally, finishing with a 2-2 tied score at EBHS.

Fall athletes are full of talent and passion
No athletes have more passion than high school athletes. Sure, not all of them are the best, most won’t play in college, and even an smaller amount will even sniff professional leagues. But going into my sixth season covering high school athletics, no athletes play with more dedication than high school athletes.
