The Southern Hills Athletic Conference has released the 2016-17 All-SHAC basketball teams, with 10 Highland County athletes named to the boys and girls teams.

On the girls All-SHAC team, Lynchburg-Clay had three players in seniors Hannah Binkley and McKayla Binkley and sophomore Peyton Scott named to the list. Fairfield junior Grace Shope and Whiteoak senior Maggie Carr were the other Highland County honorees.

For the boys All-SHAC team, Fairfield and Lynchburg-Clay each had two players named to the list as both teams won their respective divisions. Fairfield seniors Jensen Dalton and Wyatt Evans were named to the team, along with Lynchburg-Clay senior Joe Giordano and LC junior Eric McLaughlin. Also named to the All-SHAC list was junior Trever Yeager of Whiteoak.

Fairfield head coach Everett Snyder was named the SHAC boys basketball coach of the year, while Eastern Brown coach Kevin Pickerill received girls basketball coach of the year honors.
