    Following a tough first quarter where the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats were held scoreless, their game improved for the next three quarters where they had their best scoring contest of the season. That said, they were still unable to gain the victory, falling in Southern Hills Athletic Conference action to the West Union Lady Dragons, 72-26.

    The Whiteoak Wildcats took just two games this season to earn a victory, and they did so on Tuesday night by defending their home court for a 54-42 win over Felicity-Franklin, giving head coach Blake Kibler his first win as a high school varsity head coach.

    This Tuesday is for boys basketball as three teams from Highland County are taking the court for non-conference games early into the season, with the Hillsboro Indians going on the road to face Georgetown. Next is Fairfield hosting the Paint Valley Bearcats, and the Whiteoak Wildcats are hosting Felicity-Franklin.
