A love of basketball and a phone call saw a familiar face return to lead the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats basketball program back from the bottom of the conference standings to work to rebuild to what it once was.

  • Blake Kibler ‘returning home’ to coach Whiteoak Wildcats

    When one begins coaching, the goal is to usually become a varsity head coach, and for Blake Kibler, he’s achieving that goal and then some as he’ll not only become a high school boys varsity basketball head coach, but he’ll be doing so at his alma mater of Whiteoak High School.

  • Whiteoak ends season in sectional semifinal loss to Jeeps

    A few missed chances under the hoop by the No. 11 seeded Whiteoak Wildcats, added with the sixth seeded South Webster Jeeps having a couple scoring runs, resulted in the season coming to a close for the ’Cats by a 57-39 score Wednesday in the Division IV SE District Sectional Semifinals at Northwest High School.

    The Whiteoak Wildcats showed much improvement in their second meeting of the season against the North Adams Green Devils on Friday night. In fact, the Wildcats went into overtime with the hosts and left Adams County with their third victory over the season.
