The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs broke away from a tied score after three frames, overcoming strong shooting by the Adena Warriors to advance in the Division III SE District Sectional Semifinals by a 78-68 score Wednesday night at the Waverly Gym.

    For the first time since 1989, the West Union Dragons have won a Southern Hills Athletic Conference championship, clinching the outright title by defeating the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs, 79-69 in front of a tournament-like atmosphere Friday night.
